Our School Zone
Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.
Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined based on your permanent residential address.
Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.

2024 Foundation (Prep) Enrolments
The Department of Education has released a new statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline.
The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Bungaree Primary School.
The new timeline will apply for children starting Foundation (Prep) in 2024. All government primary schools will follow the new timeline in 2023 to support Foundation (Prep) enrolments for the 2024 school year.
You can find information and resources about the new timeline, including factsheets and the ‘Foundation (Prep) Enrolment Information Pack for Parents/Carers’, at: Enrolling in Foundation (Prep).
You will be able to apply to enrol your child in Foundation (Prep) 2024 at Bungaree Primary School from 24 April 2023.
What you need to do:
Enrolment applications submitted after 28 July 2023 will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Placement Policy.
At Bungaree Primary School, we welcome new families to our school community. If you are considering a school for child or children, why not come along and meet our Principal and tour our fantastic school? We would love the opportunity to share what Bungaree can offer your family. School tours can be arranged by appointment, anytime. We look forward to meeting you soon!
To inspire the love of learning at Bungaree Primary School, we encourage local kindergartens to come and visit and experience school life at Bungaree. We can arrange a morning of discovery play and learning with our Junior Classroom teacher and students, and welcome enquiries from kindergartens in the local area. If you would like to learn more about our Kinder visits, please contact our Principal.
In Term 4 we welcome prospective Foundation students to take part in a Transition Program called "Foundation Fun." During their time at school, the Kinder children take part in classroom activities with the other children from the Junior Classroom. This involves our morning discovery play, story time, shared reading, a literacy lesson, fruit break, and last, but not least, morning recess. Each Kinder child is assigned a buddy from the Junior Classroom for the session who supports them every step of the way. The whole aim of our program is to allow our prospective Foundation students to take part in a normal, relaxed and friendly school day to prepare them for the big adventurous step into primary school. Visit our Foundation Fun Transition page for more information!
